This is Naomi's second week of life, but it's my first week of combining reading with breastfeeding because we've kind of got the hang of it now.

  • Project Hail Mary, by Andy Weir (3)

    • nerdy science fiction in space by the guy that wrote The Martian. My favorite kind of details-oriented, math-heavy, based in real world science, science fiction novel. With a cute (spoiler alert) alien.

  • Big Summer, by Jennifer Weiner (2)

    • trashy, very light, fun murder mystery/love story/friendship story on the beach

  • The Murder at the Vicarage, by Agatha Christie (3)

    • Agatha Christie mysteries are my comfort food

  • Between Two Kingdoms, by Suleika Jouad (3.5)

    • Jouad’s memoir about having a very aggressive form of leukemia as a young adult, and the post-treatment road trip she took; she’s a great writer and has had a fascinating life - I also cried several times :-/

  • After the Funeral, by Agatha Christie (3)

    • again - love Christie
